VANSTELLA Trading ("VANSTELLA", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG).

2. What data we collect
- Order information: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, payment confirmation (we never store full card numbers — payments are processed by our payment provider)
- Account information: if you create an account, your login credentials and order history
- Communication: emails and messages you send us
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookie data (see our Cookie section)
3. Why we use your data (Legal basis)
- To fulfil your order (legal basis: performance of a contract)
- To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting law (legal basis: legal obligation)
- To send marketing emails — only if you have given explicit consent (legal basis: consent; you can withdraw at any time)
- To improve our website and prevent fraud (legal basis: legitimate interest)
4. Who we share data with
We share data only with processors necessary to operate our store: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment providers, and shipping carriers. All processors are bound by data processing agreements. We never sell your personal data.
Our store is hosted by Shopify. For some services, such as Shop Pay and fraud prevention, Shopify may also process personal data as an independent controller. More information is available in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
5. International transfers
Some of our processors may store data outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards (such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
6. How long we keep data
Order and invoice data is retained for 7 years to comply with Dutch tax law. Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent. Other data is kept no longer than necessary.
7. Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at team@vanstella.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
